空 (Kasumi)

Originally thought by all of us, including herself, to have been the "negative space" between system members rather than a member in her own right, Kasumi was later discovered to simply be unable to speak English due to a mental block, and uses either Japanese or a form of emoji rebus to communicate instead. Voids kanji name was taken from the 🈳 emoji, in reference to its meaning of "vacancy", which void originally used in place of a name prior to realizing Japanese bypassed voids mental block.

Being by far the most shy of all of us, and also owing to the language barrier in most online spaces, Kasumi rarely comes to the front, but tends to become strongly attached to those who take the time to understand what she says, though no level of familiarity has yet been known to put a dent in her signature third person, overly-polite speaking style.
