Formerly a young Japanese woman, Emi was reincarnated in the body of her favorite character, the villainess of her favorite story, Remilia Rose Graupner. Unaware that Remilia was still conscious and watching on from within their now-shared mind, she resolved to change Remilia's tragic fate, but was foiled by a reincarnator who took over the body of the story's heroine, who framed her for attempted murder. As a result, Emi fell into despair, leaving Remilia to retake the front and take revenge on those who had wronged them.
